The Department for Education regularly publishes a list of educational establishments in England and Wales. I wanted to see which areas have the most schools with Speech Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCOs), and what those schools look like. To find out, I built a visualisation in Tableau.

The first tab (‘Map’) maps establishments with and without Speech SENCOs, along with the type of establishment, the number of establishments, and the total number of pupils. The second tab (‘Pupils by Region and FSM’) breaks pupils down in more detail across the different types of establishment.
