Residential property sales in England and Wales

One of my work projects that gained a lot of publicity was an analysis of residential property sales in England and Wales. The underlying data is collected by the Land Registry and is publicly available.

The Land Registry also publishes its House Price Index data. I used it to create the following visualisation:
